Panama’s public health care to get a major overhaul

Earlier this year the tender process for the five new hospitals in the interior of the country was announced. This tender process is now over, all offers were received and the evaluating commission selected two companies to build the hospitals. The companies participating in the tender process were two Spanish companies FCC and SEMI, the Colombian company HPP, the Korean company Samsung and the company IBT Health.

The winners were the consortium IBT Health, composed of Carimex, IBT and Riogersa, and FCC and the breakdown is as follows:…………
