KLM direct flights from Amsterdam increased to six per week. The Dutch Airlines beginning on November first will increase its direct flights between Amsterdam and Panama City from three per week to six per week.

Panama’s strong economy helps it climb in international rankings. Panama recently went up six places in the global competitiveness ranking from 59 to 53. This is the Global Competitiveness Ranking 2010 -2011 issued by the World Economic Forum. Switzerland has the first spot in this ranking.
